Five Males and Four Females
Dam: Robingun's Fireball B Z Tevah (Tevah)
Sire: Kaiser II aus der Wolfskammer (German import)
The sire of this litter is a handsome male that was imported from Germany by Tom McDonald that lives with one of Mario's co-workers. The dam is Tevah, a third generation female out of our Nixie Rae line that we co-own with Tom McDonald. This is Tevah's second litter.
Tevah has a very calm and cooperative temperament and very good conformation. Our Nixie Rae line includes four NAVHDA Versatile Champions. Tevah has been a very easy dog to train and she has a wonderful temperament. In May of 2017 she passed the NAVHDA Utility Preparatory Test at only sixteen months of age and in October of 2017 she passed the NAVHDA Utility Test at 22 months of age. She earned a Prize I in her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test when she was eight months old and when she was ten months old she was Reserve Champion Rare Breed Puppy at the IABCA conformation show at Purina Farms. Tevah has a very staunch point and she has been a natural retriever since she was six weeks of age. Tevah's dam, Robingun's Branka von der Hills, is one of the best dogs we we have ever owned and Tevah's sire is the German import we own, Zandor vom Fuchseck, who has a phenomenal nose and he has consistently produced outstanding puppies. Feedback we have gotten on Tevah's first litter is excellent and we kept a female from Tevah's first litter, Lyssa, who was hunting wild birds at 6.5 months of age.
Kaiser is a very handsome male with excellent conformation. He has a very calm and cooperative temperament in the home and in the field. Kaiser is hunted mainly on upland game and he has an excellent nose and staunch point. Kaiser comes from one of the most respected breeders in Germany. Kaiser lives in Lincoln, NE, with one of Mario's co-workers so we frequently see him as well as we have trained him and hunted with him.
We take special care to ensure we have healthy puppies by using a reputable fertility vet for every breeding we do with our females that includes checking the male's semen prior to breeding and doing progesterone tests with the females. We take all of these extra steps with our pairings so we can determine the best time for breeding so we minimize any chance of having issues with puppy size or congenital defects.
We select the registered names for the puppies but the owners may call their pup whatever name they choose.
Selected Female Names:
Robingun's Odette (Odette means "fatherland" in German)
Selected Male Names:
Robingun's One Shot Sniper
We sell all of our pups with a NAVHDA breed restriction and we will not remove the restriction unless a dog has been approved for breeding by the SMCNA. We will also help our puppy buyers with training and testing and all of our puppy buyers receive a puppy training manual that Pam has created. Our goal as a breeder of Small Munsterlanders, thanks to the the assistance of Tom McDonald, is to breed only the best Small Munsterlanders true to the German FCI standards that are not only excellent hunting dogsbut excellent pets in the home. Tom McDonald is not only our mentor, but the first person in the United States to import the breed, as well as he is one of the founders of the Small Munsterlander Club of North America.
